THE RISK MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY!

The EFFECT BRIEFLY and TO THE POINT

Chemical/physical effects being defined in accordance with relevant technical rules and consequently recorded in conformity with DIN standards and legal regulations respectively are the following:

  • Disinfection by oxidation by the use of micro biocide oxygen compoundsand through chlorine effects (hypochlorous acid HClO) which are identified and taken down by means of usual chlorine measuring (DPD-test).
  • Mobilization of the bio films by disturbance of the lime/carbonic acidbalance (bio film extraction).
  • Direct disinfection by means of different long life oxidative substancesas well as extreme pH differences and electron removing, the latter effect being remained limited on the area of the disinfection unit only.

Inactivationand destruction respectively of micro-organisms (i.e. bacteria, fungi, algae, amoebae and viruses)

  • Inactivation of following disease causing agents:

     

      Bacteria (disease):

    • Salmonella typhi (typhoid fever)

      Salmonella enteritidis (gastro-enteritis

      Shigella dysenteriae (dysentery)

      Vibrio cholerae (cholera)

      Escherichia coli (gastro-enteritis)

      Leptospira icterohaemorhagica (leptospirose, Weil’s disease)

      Mycobacterium tuberculosis (tuberculosis)

      Legionella pneumophila (legionnaire disease)

     

    Viruses (disease):

    • Hepatitis A virus (jaundice)

      Polio virus (poliomyelitis)

      Enterovirus (gastro-enteritis)

     

    Amoebae:

    • Amoebic dysentery

       

      Fungi

    Double disinfecting effect:

    Disinfection directly in the EC cell by means of short life oxidants as well as by homogeneous reaction in the water by means of long life chlorine equivalent oxidants (depot effect), thus avoiding re-infection in pipes and tanks
